Thank you for visiting The Alan Rickman Birthday fundraising page, set up by the Alan Rickman Fan Club to commemorate his birthday. The fund is now in it's 5th year and all donations are used to support students of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Last year you helped to raise an amazing £830.00 (plus Gift Aid) which was used to provide scholarships and bursary awards to students in genuine financial need.
The students were financially assessed and those selected to receive support, from this fund, for the Academic Year 2006/7 were:
BA Acting Degree: Yasmine Akram (Third Year)
Theatre Technical Arts Diploma: Gemma Thomas (Second Year), Keiko LeMon (First Year)
The funds raised last year really helped to provide a life line for these students
On behalf of Alan and the student recipients, RADA would like to thank all contributors, past and present. With the provision of this annual fund, we hope to maintain support for students in the 2007/8 Academic Year and in years to come.
