Thanks for visiting my fundraising page in memory of Tom Clabburn, who died suddenly at his home in London on 5th October 2007. aged 14.
Tom had an undiagnosed heart-related condition. His death came as a complete and utter shock. He was a lovely, energetic, bright and funny young man. He supported Spurs but that was his only blemish.
As close family friends for many years, Helen and I were shattered by Tom's death and still find it hard to take in. We have many joyous memories of Tom from some very special times we all spent together. He is still making us smile.
It is only since Tom's death that Helen and I have become aware of how many young people die each year from heart-related problems. It is with that in mind that we are raising money in Tom's memory for the charity CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young - and ask you to help us as generously as you can.
Helen, me, Josh and Louis are taking part in the CRY London Bridges Sponsored Walk on 20th July, which is exactly as it says on the tin - a sponsored walk in London that includes crossing all the major bridges. You can find out more about the walk and the charity at www.c-r-y.org.uk
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiac Risk in the Young gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support - every bit helps large or small.
Love Alan, Helen, Josh and Louis
PS Please don't reply to this email as it goes to Justgiving and not us!
