Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in the Biking UK 'A lap of Britain' on 01/03/2010 to raise money for Help for Heroes and I'd really appreciate your support. The date was orginally set to be the 30th of October to 8th of November but it was felt that to maximise the amount of sponsorship for such a worthy cause a greater time frame would be required.

The chairty ride is a lap of the United Kingdoms coastal roads starting at Waterloo Ambulance Station and then onto Hastings and going clockwise down to Penzance, up to Wales and Scotland and back down to Waterloo via Hastings. In total its apprximatley 3300 miles which I aim to cover in ten days, thats an average of 310 miles a day on supersports bikes sleeping under 'canvas' and being self sufficient throughout the journey.

If at any point you want to join me on this journey I will shortly be posting a detailed itinerary of the route and stop off points along the way on a dedicated webpage on facebook as updates on my justgiving webpage.

All donations no matter what size will be greatfully received.

JustGiving sends your donation straight to Help for Heroes and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more. I hope you'll join me in supporting Help for Heroes.

Thank you.

Ian
