My personal message:

Last year, thanks to the support of people like you, I raised over £380,000 for Leukaemia Research, in memory of my best friend John Merritt and his daughter Ellie, who both died from leukaemia.

It will be hard to top the experience of running in the Flora London Marathon 2003 but the need for research continues, so I am heading up the LRF Michelob ULTRA London Triathlon Team and participating myself, swimming 1.5km, cycling 40km and running 10km-more pain guaranteed!

I promised the Leukaemia Research Triathlon team that if they raised £100,000- a tall order for just 150 people-that I would match it with my own fundraising and thanks to an astonishingly generous company donation, we have already raised over £220,000. Help us to an amazing quarter of a million by sponsoring me and the team here.

Thank-you!
