I'm completing the Coast to Coast bike ride in September with a couple of friends, and have decided to sponsor Leeds hospices. The C2C runs from Whitehaven to Sunderland - 150 miles, and we're hoping to do it in 3 days (actually we have no choice!).

I let my wife chose the charity I'm riding for (well after all she'll be looking after the kids for 3 days), and she chose Leeds hospices. Hospices have a special meaning to us, as I'm sure they do to many others out there who have had first hand experience of the care that they provide to terminally ill patients.The difference that hospice staff make to terminally ill patients' quality of life is extremely moving, and they are true unsing heroes. Please contribute as much as you can as every penny will go to making a difference to terminally ill patients and their friends and families.
