Hello,

My name is Alastair Mavor. I am 19 years old and I suffer from Cystic Fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease. It currently effects more than 8,000 peoople in the UK alone. For more information, have a look at www.cftrust.co.uk.

Last year, I fulfilled a dream in managing to complete The Flora London Marathon in 4 hours 11 minutes! Thanks to all your support I raised over £12,000 for the CF trust. Sunday 26th April 2009 will see me try to complete that challenge again. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for the CF Trust, as well as raising the profile of the disease.
