OK, I'm a sucker for punishment.
After vowing FOUR TIMES that I would never run another marathon, I want to see if the old knees will carry me through a fifth!
To 'celebrate' my 40th, I'm going to attempt the 2009 London Marathon on April 26, raising money for Cancer Research Wales.
As many will know, this is a charity very close to my heart, having lost my sister Roxy when she was just 40 three years ago, and last year, a good friend, Bob Humphrys.
Bob was the auctioneer for auctions we held before my last two marathons, helping us to raise many, many thousands of pounds for both Cancer Research Wales, and Velindre Hospital here in Cardiff.
I know money is tight this year for a lot of people, but I do hope you can make some kind of contribution to this fantastic cause - and help inspire me around those 26.2 miles - it is a VERY long way!
