TackleAfrica uses the power and popularity of football to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to young people on football pitches across the continent

Story

iPAY2PLAY is an event involving professional athletes and celebrities aiming to use sports as a way to raise funds for charity projects in Africa and other developing countries. The inaugural event will be held on 21st May when 3 teams of professional footballers, celebrities and the highest bidding corporate team will play in a football tournament. Each professional footballer will pay and also raise a set target to support TackleAfrica and 3 other charities.

As a professional footballer with Bristol City and Ghana, I want to do my bit to support young people in Africa. TackleAfrica deliver HIV education through football coaching in 6 African countries, helping save lives through the beautiful game. Peterborough and Congo player Gabi Zakuani and TeamIMANI will be visiting Ghana with TackleAfrica in June. TeamIMANI and Gabi are organising this event to raise funds to help TackleAfrica support the young people they will meet.
