Hi all! - and welcome (back) to my London Marathon webpage

Despite the rain and cold marathon number 7 was an enormously enjoyable experience. None of my training troubles re-emerged and I got round without hitch, in what Uncle Rog has amusingly said was a very decent time at 2 hours 110 minutes!!  

I'd like to say one last massive thanks to everyone who has sponsored me, not just on this occasion, but on many of my previous running sorties. The money raised is without any doubt money well spent. The staff at Sue Ryder do an awesome job and I find it reassuring that people in similar situations to my mum will now benefit from your generosity. 

I hope to catch up with you all very soon - and look forward to spotting everyone a drink or two as a sign of my appreciation.
