Welcome to our online donation page.
So our team at Alea Glasgow (along with some friends, husbands, boyfriends and extended family) have decided to take on the challenge of a skydive at St. Andrews in March next year! We have to raise a minimum of £350 per jumper to be able to participate so we NEED YOU HELP!

Tracey and Andrew Brown gave birth to a healthy baby boy in May 2008 - Ryan. Aged 2 Ryan was unable to walk around like most toddlers his age. As parents you'd hope he was a slow learner or that his sister was maybe helping him a bit more than he needed but unfortunately this wasn't the case for the Browns'. After some physio and testing they were given the news that Ryan has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
What is Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy:
Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a neuromuscular condition caused by the lack of a protein called dystrophin. It is a serious condition that causes progressive muscle weakness. It is a LIFE LIMITING condition which affects mostly boys.Here is a short video to help show what Life could be like for Ryan -
We have the chance to help change his future and many other children's future too! Not only for the children diagnosed with Muscular dystrophy but also for children like Amy, Ryan's big sister! For the parents coming to terms with their child's diagnosis. It's no easy road but with your help we can give them HOPE that a cure will be made available to them.
