I am doing the London Triathlon for the charity Fight for Sight which procides money for research into causes of blindness.  I chose to race for this charity because my family and I have personally been affected by this condition. 

This is my first triathlon and is made all the more difficult by the fact that

1. I have only given myself 2 months to train

2. The swim is in open water so I might drown
