45 miles on a Brompton, um, could be interesting... certainly it will make it a lot harder, Brompton's are OK for 15-20 mins, but after that it becomes very uncomfortable!!! Furthest I have cycled on it so far was 13 miles......

Although getting to the start and home again after from darkest north Bedfordshire could be more of a challenge!!!!
