Story

Dear Friends and Family,

Instead of spending your hard earned money on that set of extra fluffy 'His and Hers' towels we thought that the best present we could possibly ask for is a donation to two charities that are very important to us: Cancer Research UK and The Association of Post Natal Illness.

Unfortunately we couldn't set up a single page for both charities.  This page is for donating to Cancer Research UK, please go to www.justgiving.com/alexanddavid2 to donate to The Association For Post Natal Illness.

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.  Their groundbreaking work has saved millions of lives, including some of those very close to us.  They fund the work of over 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK, and run specialised institutes dedicated to cancer research.  If it weren’t for charities such as Cancer Research UK, our lives would be even more blighted by this terrible disease.

You can find more information about Cancer Research UK at www.cancerresearchuk.org.

The Association of Post Natal Illness is a charity dedicated to helping mothers with post-natal illness.  Their work in supporting mothers is absolutely vital and the charity requires constant funding to help the tens of thousands of women suffering from this 'silent epidemic'.  Not only does the charity provide one-to-one support for mothers in need, but also works to raise awareness and encourage research into the illness.

You can find more information about APNI at http://www.apni.org/.

Donating through JustGiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charities and if you're a UK taxpayer they make sure Gift Aid is added to your donation.

Thank you so much - we can't wait to see you on 29th May.

Love Alex & David / Wilson / Clarkie!
