Story

My name is Alexander Rawlinson, I am 28 and the furthest I have run in a competition is 3 miles on the sand dunes when I was 11. I cheated and got the bus back with Lee Bray because I was so tired. My legs are 29" top to bottom and my average running stride is 80cm; meaning I will only have to make 52,500 steps to complete the marathon! I have borrowed Louise's ipod and downloaded one song and one song only - Eye of the Tiger. I anticipate beating Gebrselassie by at least a mile.

Please help me raise money for UBS, the charity that provides a lifeline to isolated and impoverished older people in the UK.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Universal Beneficent Society (UBS) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
