There are nearly 18 million people in the world today diagnosed with dementia. Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia, affecting around 500,000 people in the UK alone.  As this disease has directly impacted our family, we are aiming to raise £1,000.00 for the Alzheimer's Society.  Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us closer to this target, and is greatly appreciated.

The Alzheimer's Society is a UK charity that provides core services to all people with dementia, their families and the professionals who work with them.  It provides helplines and support for carers, runs quality day and home care, funds medical and scientific research and gives financial help to families in need. The Society also campaigns for improved health and social services and greater public understanding of all aspects of dementia.
