<p>Alex lived with diabetes from the age of 2. All who knew him are aware of how bravely and maturely he coped with it and although it was undoubtedly the biggest single influence on his life, it did not stop him from living life to the full.</p> <p>Although Alex died suddenly from bacterial meningitis, this was probably due to his reduced immunity to infection as a result of being diabetic.</p> <p>He was a wonderful boy and we will all miss him so much.</p> <p>Please donate in Alex's memory to help find a cure for diabetes.</p>
