After 8 years in Switzerland mostly biking up and down large hills on big rugged tyres, I relocated back to the UK in 2014, swapped the mountains for roads, and started cycling to work.

Inspired by a group of Amgen riders who rode at lunches and weekends, I joined my village cycle group and started taking part in regular 70-80 mile events. Not feeling like this was enough, a more serious challenge beckoned. London to Paris, 320 miles over 4 days, will be that challenge!

I work for Amgen UK and I am responsible for several studies in our multiple myeloma program. I see first-hand on a daily basis the devastating effect of myeloma and the urgent need for continuation of research programs and the wider awareness of myeloma. I'm excited to be taking part in this event on behalf of Amgen, but I'm honoured to be doing it on behalf of Myeloma UK.
