I am running the Great North Run half marathon with my sister on 5th October 2008 to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service is a vital emergency service for many of the rural communities of the North of England where we grew up and one which was called upon by our family in July 2007 when our Dad was involved in a fatal accident in rural Northumberland which sadly took his life.

My training is going well.  The runs are getting longer and  there will be no slacking off for summer as I am also running the Great Capital Run in Hyde Park on 20th July!!
