Hello

On Sunday 5th October I completed the Great North Run in a not too amazing 2 hours 18 mins!

I had a great day and was relieved that the sun was shining.  The support was fantastic and I enjoyed it so much that I'm signing up for it next year!

Together with my sister, who also ran, we have raised over £3,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service so thanks to everyone who donated.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service is a vital emergency service for many of the rural communities of the North of England where I grew up and one which was called upon by my family in July 2007 when my Dad was involved in an accident in rural Northumberland which sadly took his life.
