Raising money for Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF)

Charity Registration No. 251051

QEF works with people living with physical and learning disabilities or acquired brain injuries to gain new skills and increase independence. Whether it's learning everyday life skills, rebuilding a life affected by brain injury, acquiring the skills to drive a specially adapted car or training for future employment QEF supports disabled people to achieve goals for life.

The report...

I got round and lived to tell the tale! All seemed like good fun at the start - enjoyed the bands and the cheering crowds and the fancy dress runners, until I hit about 17 miles. Then the cramp struck and the next 9 miles were pretty slow and painful. Was a relief to finish and I managed to overtake the giant chickens on the way to the finish line. 4hrs and 49 mins

Having told myself I'd never do it again - I'm not thinking that maybe I'd like to have another crack at it...watch this space
