Running the South African Comrades Marathon for  Wells Community Hospital

 Alex Watson, aged 67, will be competing in the Comrades Marathon on 17^th June on behalf of Wells Community Hospital and he is hoping to raise £5000 towards equipment for the new ENT room. This extraordinary marathon covers a distance of 87 kilometres with some serious hills, rising from just above sea level to 810m at the highest point! 

Alex competed in the 2007 London Marathon and has already raised more than £1300 for the hospital this year.
