Thank you to everyone who took so much time to draw an African animal.

The best thing of all, is that everyone who entered has helped a child in East Africa who does not have enough to eat or clean water to drink.

All of those children will be much happier today because of the help that every single one of you has provided.

Now to the winner.

This was a very difficult competition to pick a winner from. I spent ages choosing which would be the winner and there were so many fantastic entries to choose from.

The winning drawing was a lion drawn by Phoebe Smith. I chose this one because it had lots of detail and the background was very clever using different shades of orange to make a sunset.

Phoebe won a soft, cuddly teddy bear.
