Hello my name is Alfie Jack Walmsley

Thank you for visiting my page

The above photograph is me and was taken on St Georges Day just before I was diagnosed with a Brain tumour in May.

I have had 7 operations and chemotherapy since then and I think I have been very brave and courageous throughout.

I have lots of family and friends that come and visit me at Queen’s medical centre in Nottingham including my Dad Roger, my twin Sister Daisy. My mum Katrina looks after me at the hospital and keeps me company.

Lots of people know my granddad Maurice Walmsley and they have all tried to get him to shave his head before but to know avail. Now me of course being the loving grandson I am have won , so now I am asking every body to please sponsor my granddad’s head shave and raise money for CHILDREN’S BRAIN TUMOUR RESEARCH at queen’s medical centre,Nottingham. This will help other children just like me

The head shave will take place on the 13th September 2008 at 8pm.

The venue is the Rose and Crown public house on
Main Street in Balderton

i really hope you can all sponsor my Granddad, it is for a very good cause

Thank you

Alfie

Dear Tara White

Congratulations, we have approved your application for Matched Fundraising.

The matched funding element will be paid by CAF on behalf of the Foundation by BACS (where possible), direct to each charity with a remittance advice that the funds are from The Vodafone Foundation.

You will be notified when your chosen charity has been sent your matched funding within the next 6-8 weeks.

Kind regards,

The Vodafone Foundation
