Claire House Children’s Hospice offers the very best care wherever and whenever a child and family needs it. Their nurses allow mums and dads to be parents, as opposed to 24/7 carers; their physiotherapists help children confined to a wheelchair feel the freedom and movement of water in a hydrotherapy pool; their play therapists help families create memories that will last a life time; and their Family Support Team offer emotional support when the very worst happens, for as long as it is needed.

Sadly, close friends of ours needed this support last November when their baby George passed away after only 6 days. They said the love, care and support they received from Claire House was amazing.

To honor the memory of George and to ensure this wonderful place continues to offer this support, myself and a group of friends are embarking on 100 sober days (starting 2 January) and finishing with a 15k assault course on Sunday 10 April.
