On the 29 June myself, Alice Jones and friend Louise Page will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of St. Michael’s Hospice. We are determined to reach our target of £1000. The money raised will supply syringe drivers at the hospice. Syringe drivers are used when the patients are nearing the end of their life {however, not in all cases}. This type of medication is delivered within a 24 hour period; its aim is to make the patient as comfortable as possible. Your support and donation will help us step towards our goal!

About Us.......

Lou Page!

I'm climbing Mount Kilimanjaro because i can't let Alice go on her own specially for her birthday. When Alice came back from Peru she had amazing stories, so when she approached me about this i was really up for it. My grandad once climbed Killimanjaro when he was in the army, but only reached to the snow because he had to stay behind with kit, and unfortunately never got to the top.

St Micheals Hospice is very close to my heart. I have had family and a very dear friend who unfortunately has now passed away. I feel they do great job and do not get much credit for it. I am a nurse and sometimes have to send patients to them.THey are always on hand to offer support and guidance to anyone who needs it, they are the angels. The syringe drivers will really help them and the patients.

I feel this will be a life changing experience, i'll see a different life and different world. Im hoping i will learn about myself more, and challenge myself to the full. I don't want to look back in years to come with regret.

It is going to be tough and challenging but one worth doing. With Me looking out for Alice, and Alice looking after me!, and knowing your support back home, we will reach that sumit no matter what! . People ask me "why am i doing it?" My relpy.....

Why Not!

Alice Jones!

I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro not only to raise money and support St. Michaels Hospice but because on the 12th July I turn 21. I wanted to do something different to celebrate my birthday! I wanted to see a different culture, a different world! In 2008 I trekked the Andes {Inca Trail in Peru} this gave me the fuel and inspiration to trek higher and to climb for a charity! I am determined to reach the summit of Kili and our target of £1000.

Thank you for any support and donations you can give. We very much appreciate it!

look out Africa Lou and Alice are coming!
