Over the Easter holidays I have decided to take part in a charity hitch-hike all the way to Morocco in aid of Link Community Development.  We will be starting in Portsmouth where we will get the ferry to Le Havre then hitch all the way down through France and to the south of Spain, jump on another ferry to the coast of Africa where we will make our way to Marrakech. It should take us around 6 days and cover a massive 1600 miles. (The money I raise will in no way go towards any of my travel costs). LCD are an amazing charity that run projects to improve education facilities and communities, for example training teachers, helping local communities to build schools and to run aids awareness programs. LCD are working towards a future where children are given a chance to flourish and fill their potential and I am extremely proud to be a part of this. As Link Community Developments biggest fundraiser benefiting over 500 schools in Africa, the Morocco hitch will be a challenging and exciting experience as well as significantly benefiting poor communities and helping them to acheive what many of us take for granted.
