Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Women's Aid Federation Of England gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
I'm pretty scared of heights, and don't experience them very much (being vertically challenged). I've only been in a plane about 5 times, so am not really at the jumping out of it level yet!
The charity I've chosen to support is Women's Aid who help victims of domestic violence. Some people are strong enough to get out, but others need that support there and it's a cause I really want to help.
Domestic Abuse now kills more women in the UK than cancer and car accidents combined. 1 in 4 women globally will be subjected to violence, abuse or rape in their lifetime (UN statistics).
I took part in a charity performance of the Vagina Monologues in February for this cause too.
Your support will be much appreciated and will really help when I'm in the plane talking myself into going through with it!!
