Its over!  What a wonderful day! I never dreamed the support would make such a huge difference to my energy levels!  A truely emotional experience, my first marathon, never to be forgotten!  Although Bridget and I completed the marathon running constantly (apart from a brief wc stop!), I think we may now have caught the bug and are already thinking about how to improve our training and time. Raising money for African Revival was the true motivation to do the marathon as I know without being able to help a charity, I would not have elected to do it in the first place.  Also, I am so grateful to Bridget for suggesting we run it together which made it so much more of a special experience for us both. Those of you out there who are still happy to sponsor me and have not got around to it yet, now is the time!
