Story

Hi

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This year I'm going to try and do three triathlons, one local, and two national, finishing with London in August.

Like previous years, your donations will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care, and specifically their Big Build project up here in Glasgow (no jokes about my weight!).

The Glasgow hospice was one of the first built, over 30 years ago, and it's showing it's age (no jokes about my age either, thanks!). The nursing standards are excellent, but the facilities are now affecting patients' comfort and standard of care.

The Big Build is raising funds for a new state of the art hospice, which will be one of the best in Europe. We've raised £13M so far - with all your help and support I've been able to put just over £3000 to that amount - and we only need another £3.1M to hit the overall target.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
