Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I successfully reached the summit of Kilimanjaro and shed some tears for my mum when I got there. This was a personal challenge for me and I did it in memory of my lovely mum. Mum was airlifted to hospital after suffering a major stroke in January 2009. Thanks to the Kent & Surrey Air Ambulance the medical team in the trauma unit were able to respond to her needs as quick as possible.Sadly the stroke was so massive that she died a few weeks later but she was given the best chances by being helped by the team on the Air Ambulance whose motto is "saving time - saving life".
