Thank you for supporting my TCS London Marathon journey with the British Heart Foundation.

My daughter Holly was born with multiple congenital heart defects. To date she has had heart surgery through her back at 8 weeks old and open heart surgery at 5 1/2 months old. She will have her 3rd surgery, unfortunately open heart again when the medication no longer works sufficiently or one of the multiple faults worsens. Her heart defects are life long and that makes us more so eternally grateful that we have access to services and to technology in this area. You always think heart and that’s it, life is over. Without the BHF and the NHS, there is no doubt that Holly wouldn’t be with us today!

With your donations, we’re raising money for one of the most exciting fields of research - regenerative medicine. We're aiming to fund breakthroughs and find cutting edge new treatments for people living with heart disease. The race is on to heal hearts together.
