I will be accompanying the British Team to the World Transplant Games in Australia in August 2009. This will be my 5th trip with the team, providing a Physio service to the largest British Team ever to go to the World Games! This time there  will be 2 Physios and a Sports Masseur to divide the work between but as there is no central Governement funding for these Games we must all work to raise the funds to pay for our trip.

It is an honour to accompany this amazing group of athletes and in 2007 the British Team topped the medal table comprehensively, coming home with 293 medals of which 130 were gold! An unbelievable total and yet hardly reported in the media. Providing a professional Physio service allows many of the competitors not only to achieve their potential but also to receive the benefits due to top international athletes.
