At Christians Against Poverty, we equip local churches to support people facing debt and other financial challenges. We campaign for a redesigned society that works for everyone, including those on the lowest incomes. Find out more about us at capuk.org or follow us on social media.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As you will know I have now scaled the heights of
Kilimanjaro in Nov of this year. There were 4 main challenges for me, (5 if you include leaving my hair straighteners behind!!!!), they were leaving my little family for 10 days, getting fit for the first time in years, fundraising over £3000 and walking the walk!!  However it was all  worthwhile and I raised a great deal for Christians Against Poverty both in awareness of their wonderful work for those in devastating debt and poverty and some much needed finance to help them carry out the work that they do. It was an amazing experience which took me well out of my comfort zone...I missed my family painfully, but God provided comfort in the form of prayer, reassurance in the form of a couple of phone calls to my home and some mesmerising views. Good to be home now, but lots of great photos, memories and stories to tell my kids!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Christians Against Poverty gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
