S.A.F.E. is an arts for social change NGO working in some of Kenya’s most vulnerable and marginalised communities through our 3 grassroots, local teams. We are guided by the principle that communities know what is best for them, and thus employ teams of local actors to design and deliver projects.

Story

Hi there everyone,

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Last year a colleague of mine visited a couple of schools in Kenya as part of a programme to reach out to young people through the teaching of creative arts. The stories and pictures he returned with were extremely moving and many staff and students (including myself) have been inspired to raise funds to help Anno's Africa to continue to work in these communities.

Running a 10k is a challenge for me and I'd appreciate all your support in making it not only a worthwhile personal challenge but one which will help to make a difference to the lives of those the Anno's Africa programme helps. If you are interested in looking at Anno's work then please click on the following web link: www.anno.co.uk

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sponsored Arts For Education (SAFE) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Many, many thanks,

Ali
