I'll be running the British 10K London Run in July and hope to raise money for Lam Action - a charity which provides support and research into Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), a rare lung disease that effects mainly women.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with LAM. There is no cure and in severe cases the only hope is a lung transplant. In just 2 years I watched her health deteriorate to such an extent that she lost all independence, struggled with eating and even found it difficult to hold a conversation.
