Bonjour Je m'appelle Alison et J'aime chiens! French lessons have begun..!! After week one, I know the crucial stuff, like jai soif (i'm thirsty), jai faim (i'm hungry) jai froid (i'm cold) and les toilette (I think you can probably guess what that one is!) I'd like to say my fitness and diet were going as well, but that suffered a slight blip during my recent holiday in Alicante, although walking from the beach to the sea was pretty exhausting! Fundraising is still a challenge in itself, so if anyone has any suggestions for raising money, please let me know. A bientot My challenge - 25th and 26th January 2009: Day 1 - Together with my guide and musher (and the dogs obviously), I will go by dog sled up to a remote plateau (approx 2450m) where I will build my igloo for the night. Sleeping and eating in the igloo with the dogs outside for the night. Day 2 - Continue by dog sled for some of the way and then finish on snowshoes up to the col du Freissinieres. The col is 2782m. At the col I will meet my paragliding instructor and together we will jump off the col and paraglide back down to the ski lift. Piece of cake....!!! Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dogs Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please dig deep and sponsor me now! Ali x
