We provide specialist care and support to people with life limiting conditions

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer in March 2000 and she battled her illness courageously and was a patient in Eden Valley Hospice in the final weeks of her life, she finally lost her battle on 14 May 2003.

2013 is the 10 year anniversary of her death and I wanted to do something both to mark it and to give something back to Eden Valley Hospice, which does not receive the funding it really should.

Me, my sister, my boyfriend and some of our friends are completing 10 half marathons in 2013 to raise as much money as we can for Eden Valley Hospice and give something back for the support we received at the time.

The 10 half marathons we are completing are as follows:-

6 January - Central Lancashire half marathon

24 February - Great North West Half marathon

17 March - Run Liverpool

14 April - Edinburgh Rock and Roll half marathon

12 May - Leeds Half Marathon

June - Stranraer Half Marathon

14 July - Windmill Half Marathon

25 August - Fleetwood Half Marathon

15 September - Great North Run

8 October - Cumbrian Run

xx
