Yesterday was the final long run ! managed 20 miles in just over 3 hours - chuffed with that - so now its all systems go for this marathon !

Tried for 20 miles yesterday but blew a gasket at about 13m - main reason I think was the fact that I took no energy supplements with me /or even water and in cycling terms I "bonked" .Lesson learned ! .it was a cold ,wet and very windy run and in parts of the run it even snowed

well folks - on Sunday I made it to 16 miles - this is the furthest I have ever run - was pleased with that progress and going to try an repeat it on Sunday comin

well 14 miles is still the furthest I have ever run - need to try and push it further on Sunday long run !

well folks - the longest run so far is 13.1 miles, hopefully with more training I may get a little further - like another 13.1 miles
