Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This event will see my son Jake, realise his dreams by completing his first Marathon run, assisted by myself. Jake loves the thrill of the run and more so the opportunity it gives him to raise funds for his school and his friends at The Percy Hedley Foundation. Jake continues to make great progress and maintains good health through the intergrated conductive education he receives at Percy Hedley. Jake has cerebral palsy effecting all limbs, is registered blind and has other associated difficulties..but make no mistake, Jake is a young man, who is very determined to live a full and eventful life. He loves running with his Dad, Alistair and enjoys meeting folk along the way. Percy Hedley has made such a life changing difference for Jake and family that we sincerely hope that you will support Jake on his Marathon attempt, no mean feat for wheels and feet!!!
