Link believes all children have the right to a good quality education. We work with schools and communities in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi and Uganda. By sharing and developing skills we are bringing about long-lasting change, helping over a million children have a better start in life.

Story

Morning/Afternoon/Evening,

Some of you may or may not know I am planning to go to Morocco in Easter, and to raise money for LINK charity, I will hitch hike all the way there (also makes it more fun than a crappy Easyjet flight!).

Some of the details are yet to be ironed out, but I plan to hitch lifts from home all the way to Marrakech in Morocco with Jen who I live with now. It should take about 5 or 6 days, and will be lots of fun and completely different!

Please have a bit of a whip round on my behalf - have a look down the back of the sofa, steal from old people, pick money up off the sticky sticky floors of the pub, whatever you can spare to help me reach £300. I will be doing some fundraising in Newcastle next year to help, and I want everyone who I have sponsored for various things to help me out too!

Have a look on the LINK part on this page, they basically aim to improve education for the wee chiddies in Africa, certainly a worthwhile cause. If you want to read a bit more about them use this link (pun intended!) http://www.lcd.org.uk/events/hitch/

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Link Community Development will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks for having a look at this page, I will keep updating this as I think of things to do and say about the hitch!
