UPDATE... after the event
On Sunday 8 June 2008 Tamara, Alistair and Molly COMPLETED A 12-MILE SPONSORED WALK (in 4 hours 30 minutes) in aid of the Brain Tumour Research Campaign around Exeter Green Circle, a network of country lanes that mark the city’s boundaries. All three survived the hot sunny weather and tucked into a hearty roast dinner afterwards!
The BTRC have kindly agreed to donate all funds raised by this walk towards funding a PhD research project into gliomas, the particular type of brain tumour suffered by Alistair. Details of this, and other research and fundraising undertaken by the BTRC, can be found on the charity’s website:

Alistair: This is a very special charity to me for personal reasons. The walk takes place almost three years to the day after the diagnosis of my own tumour, and I look forward to helping BTRC with their valuable research work. Please dig deep and give us your support.
Tamara: As I miss out on the weekly training routine of Molly and Alistair – I just hope I can keep up
