This is my page for those of you who want to donate to Macmillan rather than Afrikids. 

When we reached the summit of Toubkal it was almost exactly 25 years from when my dad died.  He'd come in the from the garden the previous New Year's Eve complaining of a headache and subsequently died in the autumn of 1983.  At the time my mum also knew that she was dying of a terminal illness and passed away in January 1987.  Throughout those years, Macmillan nurses were fantastic and as both my mum and dad loved walking, the thought of climbing a mountain in order to support Macmillan would have appealed greatly to them both.
