Marathon Number Two - Windermere (the country marathon!) was completed in 4 hours, 4 minutes and 22 seconds! A wonderful run in complete contrast to London - enjoyed every step (apart from the bridge near the end!!) :o) *grin*
Marathon Number One - London (the town marathon!) was completed in 3 hours 54 minutes and 22 seconds :o) :o) Thank you for all the sponsorship, support and encouragement :o) Only four weeks until the next one!!!
ONLY ONE AND A BIT WEEKS TO GO UNTIL MARATHON NUMBER ONE!!!!!
I've never run a marathon before so thought I'd give it a go...
...but it's not just the FLM.... oh no.... why just do one marathon when you can do 2!!!
My aim is to run the London Marathon on 13th April and then Windermere Marathon on the 18th May...
Thank you for visiting my British Heart Foundation fundraising page... :o)
Training started in earnest on the 10th December...
My aim is to try and raise £3000 in total across three charities.
I am also raising money for Tuberous Sclerosis, a condition which affected one of the children I have taught, and for Dan James - a Nuneaton Rugby player who suffered paralysis in during a training session last March.
The web addresses for their justgiving pages are also below as I couldn't set up a page with all three on...

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
