Hi everybody!

So, 13.1 miles... Six months ago I probably wouldn't have been able to walk that far. Still, the things we do for charity!

By sponsoring me to compete in the Great North Run, you wont just be helping millions of people with cancer. Oh no. You will be giving me even more incentive for me to get off the sofa and do some training, and that can only be a good thing.

Seriously, 1 in 3 of us will get cancer, so think of it as a kind of insurance policy. As an extra incentive, if i reach the target then I will wear the hat (left) on the run. And if seeing me looking like a bell-end on live TV isn't worth your hard earned cash, then frankly i don't know what is.
