Hi there,
The challenge has been set to see if the saying 'All roads lead to Rome' holds any truth! We are embarking on the huge challenge of cycling all the way from the U.K. to Rome, Italy.
To make the trip worthwhile we are hoping to raise lots of money for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice. We are organising and funding this completely independently so any money will go straight to Bluebell Wood. We don't have any backup support either so all our luggage won't be thrown in the back of a van. Every day we'll wake up, pack up our tents and strap them to our bikes dragging them up and down mountains.
Our route takes us from Portsmouth to North France by ferry then we head for Grenoble at the foothills of the Alps where we will be joined by our 4th Team member Jonny. Then we will scale the Alps crossing into Italy, turning south and heading for florence and our final destination of Rome.
