Story

TUBE CHALLENGE!

Starting at 5am on Thursday 8th April 2010 Alice, George, Josh and Morgan will be taking on the epic Tube Challenge! They will attempt to visit every tube station on the London Underground in just one day, there are 269!! They are not trying to break any records, they are just trying to raise a lot of money for Global Footsteps!

In July the four 'tubers' will be visiting the Sylhet region of Bangladesh on a Global Footsteps 'Global Venture'. The main purpose of their visit is to film a feature documentary on the realities of development in rural Bangladesh.

Global Footsteps does important work in the field of inter-cultural relations, development and sustainability both at home and abroad. It has a truly worldwide network of linked communities to which Nowder in Sylhet is the latest addition. Global Footsteps has worked closely with the community capacity building project The HRA Foundation, in Nowder, to set up a new charitable trust 'Friends of Nowder.'

Please sponsor the four 'tubers' as much as you can and keep in touch for news of the documentary making process via our webiste, twitter (@globalfootsteps) and our Facebook group!
