OUR DOG SLEDDING CHARITY RAFFLE

On the 2nd Feb 2009, Ally, Kim and Andy undertook a gruelling challenge each taking their own team of Huskys 200km across the Arctic circle.

Starting at the Northernmost tip of Norway, 300km inside the arctic circle, temperatures are likely to plummet to below -30 across inhospitable mountainous terrain. Each day starts with having to harness up our own huskies and travel through complex woodland tracks, over snow filled mountain passes and across huge frozen lakes. We have to travel with all of our own sleeping equipment and food for the whole week.

Part of the Challenge is we have to raise £8700 for Battersea Dogs Home, a legendary charity who at this time of year is inundated with unwanted and mistreated animals.
