In October 2016 we received the devastating news that our mum had terminal cancer.  It came as a shock to everyone, especially mum. 

Mum wanted to stay at home for as long as possible so I contacted Paul Satori for help.  From my time spent as a student with the community nurses I knew the invaluable service they provided to families and had even had the opportunity to spend time with them and seeing first hand what they did so I knew straight away I need their help.

From the outset they were fantastic, they were able to provide us with a hospital bed at home, listening devices and the most amazing ladies who came to stay a few nights a week to enable me to go home and have a full nights sleep.  

Mum used to look forward to her Paul Satori nights because it was a new face, someone new to talk to and most importantly someone to open up to about her worries and fears. 

That kind of service is priceless and its all completely FREE!  
Without their help and support we would never have kept mum at home so long.  They really are angels in blue!

I have a year to train for this half marathon but also a year to raise as much money as I can so Paul Satori can continue to provide their amazing service to other families across Pembrokeshire.
