Making Music believes active engagement in music transforms lives for the better and enriches the communities in which we live. As the membership organisation for voluntary music in the UK, we support, connect and champion everyone who makes, performs and presents music on a voluntary basis.

Story

Thank you for visiting the justgiving page for Alpine Allegro. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Alpine Allegro is the name for Robin Osterley’s sponsored walk in aid of Making Music and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Making Music Chief Executive Robin Osterley is to undertake the longest walk of his life, 326km across the Swiss Alps. He will not be assisted in any way, and will haul all his own possessions up 18,196 metres of height gain (and back down again of course!).

This is being done in aid of Making Music and Marie Curie Cancer Care, who will each receive 50% of the proceeds after necessary expenses have been deducted. The target is to raise a minimum of £4,500 for each organisation.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Making Music will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
