Veteran's Aid is a fantastic charity working with servicepeople who are living homeless on our streets, providing short-term respite and help off the streets for the long term.  They do a great job but you don't hear much about them because they spend their money helping people, not advertising, so every pound you can spare makes a great distance.

Action for Children help over 50000 children in the UK, making a difference for children where you live.  For every pound you donate, my employer will donate another pound to Action for Children.

Add on Gift Aid from the government and a pound from you is nearly £2.50 for some great charities!

So what have we come up with to persuade you to part with your money?  Last year's three peaks march was clearly too easy.  So this time we're going further...  along and up!

Over two days we will be racing across Welsh mountains in a 70 km challenge between checkpoints on foot, by mountain bike and kayak.  That's 80% of a marathon each days.  The area is a mix of valleys and mountains, forest and rivers.

Surely that has to be worth a few pounds for some great charities; remember every pound you donate goes straight to Veteran's Aid, plus Gift Aid, plus it will be matched by another pound for Action for Children.  So please be as generous as you can...  And wish us luck for our Challenge!
