Dear Friends

On January 3rd 2009 at 12.00pm, I am setting off from Brighton Pier on a walk around the entire coastline of the UK, a walk that is estimated at some 5-7000 miles. I am hoping to raise over £100,000 for four great charities. They are:

The Little Princess Trust:  www.littleprincesses.org.uk

Breakthrough Breast Cancer:  www.breakthrough.org.uk

The Teenage Cancer Trust: www.teenagecancertrust.org

The Parkinson's Disease Society:  www.parkinsons.org.uk

The walk should take me approximately a year to complete depending on hips, heart, lungs and feet.  This is a massive challenge for me; I'm not someone you would automatically describe as athletic or fit, but I am 100% determined to complete the whole route, so please help me reach my target by donating whatever you can so together we can help these four fantastic charities and maybe make a small difference to someone's life.
